Job summary

Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd. in St. George, New Brunswick, seeks a permanent full-time Saltwater Equipment Supervisor. You will oversee the Saltwater Equipment Department, ensuring equipment is maintained, deployed, and available to support multiple aquaculture sites.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating equipment movement, maintaining inventory controls, and ensuring safety and compliance. Experience in aquaculture and leadership are essential, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the aquaculture industry is required.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computer-based systems.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Knowledge of saltwater equipment and aquaculture operations is considered an asset.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and operational issues and guide employees.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with policies.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee projects and address challenges.
  • Manage employee schedules, vacations, and payroll submissions.
  • Source and purchase equipment by obtaining vendor quotes and PO coordination.
  • Complete reports, record keeping, and inventory tracking.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Kelly Cove Salmon Ltd. is seeking a permanent full-time Saltwater Equipment Supervisor based in St. George, New Brunswick. The Saltwater Equipment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Saltwater Equipment Department, ensuring equipment is maintained, deployed, and available to support operational requirements across multiple aquaculture sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, coach, mentor, and support the team of Saltwater Equipment Labourers.

  • Establish an inventory control and traceability method for all equipment & assets managed by the Saltwater Equipment Department
