Cognizant in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Salesforce Technical Lead to steer the design, development, and implementation of FSC and Service Cloud solutions, and to drive enterprise integrations with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

You will lead Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, and SOQL, shaping architecture, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable Salesforce platforms in a hybrid work model with three days in office.

Salesforce Technical Lead

About the role

As a Salesforce Tech Lead, you will make an impact by leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Service Cloud, and enterprise integrations. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, solution architects, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and innovative Salesforce solutions.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and Service Cloud solutions.
• Drive solution architecture discussions and provide technical leadership for Salesforce platform enhancements and integrations.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and SOQL queries to support business requirements.
• Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs and enterprise integration technologies.
• Configure and customize FSC features, including client profiles, financial accounts, household relationships, referrals, and interaction summaries.
• Develop REST and SOAP web service integrations utilizing JSON and XML data formats.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, deployment processes, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate complex functional requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.

What you need to have to be considered

• Strong experience with Salesforce.com architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Service Cloud development and customization.
• Expertise in Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Unit Testing.
• Strong experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using Salesforce APIs and middleware technologies.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and API-led integrations.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and data migration.
• Proven experience leading Salesforce technical teams and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.

These will help you stand out

• Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Consultant Certification and/or Salesforce Application/System Architect certifications.
• Experience with FSC data models, client onboarding, wealth management, banking, insurance, or financial services implementations.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external financial platforms and enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Platform performance optimization and governance best practices.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with global teams.

Salary and Other Compensation

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $78,000p.a. - $125,000p.a. CAD. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work experience, and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing.
