Responsibilities

• Design API-first and event-driven integrations with banking and data platforms.
• Govern data strategy including ETL/ELT, data quality, and retention.
• Hands-on development using Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, and Async Apex.
• Establish and manage CI/CD and DevOps practices using Salesforce DX.
• Enforce code reviews, unit tests, and static analysis.
• Manage Salesforce environments, releases, and change control.
• Coach and mentor developers across cross-functional teams.
• Implement security controls like Shield and Event Monitoring.
• Ensure OSFI, PIPEDA, and data residency compliance.
• Participate in client workshops and architecture reviews.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead with deep expertise in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to lead solution architecture, technical design, and delivery for enterprise banking, insurance, and wealth management engagements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Salesforce development experience along with expertise in integration, security, DevOps, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce FSC target architecture and technical solution design
• Design scalable data models covering Person Accounts, Individuals, Households, Financial Accounts, Relationships, and Referrals
• Define security architecture using role hierarchy, sharing rules, Territory Management, Platform Encryption, and Salesforce Shield
• Design API-first and event-driven integration solutions with banking, lending, underwriting, custodial, data warehouse, and identity platforms
• Govern data strategy including Data Cloud, ETL/ELT, data quality, deduplication, consent, and retention
• Lead hands-on Salesforce development using Apex, Flows, LWC, SOQL, Async Apex, External Services, and Named Credentials
• Establish and manage CI/CD and DevOps practices using Salesforce DX and modern pipeline tools
• Enforce quality through code reviews, unit testing, static code analysis, performance testing, and regression automation
• Manage Salesforce environments, releases, sandboxes, test data, and change control
• Coach and mentor developers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
• Implement Salesforce security controls, including Shield, Event Monitoring, Field Audit Trail, and Transaction Security Policies
• Ensure compliance with OSFI, PIPEDA, data residency, retention, and security requirements
• Participate in client workshops, architecture reviews, and steering committees
• Create architecture diagrams, decision logs, ADRs, and technical documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC)
• Hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce platform development
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and security
• Experience designing enterprise integrations and API-led architectures
• Experience with MuleSoft, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and REST/API integrations
• Strong understanding of Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, and Git
• Experience with Salesforce Shield and enterprise security controls
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and solution architecture skills
• Experience in banking, insurance, wealth management, or other financial services environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud
• Knowledge of OSFI, PIPEDA, SOC 2, and Canadian data residency requirements
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines
• Experience with Splunk or New Relic
