Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Functional Lead to support a large-scale Salesforce CRM platform within a leading Canadian banking environment. The role will focus on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, business process transformation, requirements refinement, and delivery of scalable CRM solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Operations, Risk & Compliance, Private Banking, and Advice Centre to understand business needs and refine requirements.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs to translate business requirements into Epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions using Financial Services Cloud best practices.
• Develop and demonstrate Salesforce POCs to validate proposed solutions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integrations with legacy systems, core banking platforms, and data warehouses/lakes.
• Guide functional designers and development teams throughout solution delivery.
• Work with Product Owners and Technical Leads to manage and prioritize the backlog.
• Define KPIs, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive process optimization, automation, change management, and user adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce Functional Lead experience.
• 3+ years of financial services/banking industry experience.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions in regulated environments.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (Sales and/or Service).
• Strong understanding of banking workflows, customer/product lifecycle, compliance, and data governance.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with core banking systems and data platforms/data lakes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement with senior leadership and technical teams.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, Confluence, and enterprise DevOps practices.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

Ideal Candidate:

A Salesforce Functional Lead with strong Financial Services Cloud + Banking + Enterprise Salesforce implementation experience who can effectively bridge business requirements and technical delivery.
