Job summary

VARITE is seeking a qualified Salesforce Financial Cloud - Tech Lead for a client in Toronto, ON. You will lead architecture across data model, security model, and API-first design, and define integration approaches with MuleSoft and Platform Events in a hybrid work setting.

You will mentor developers, drive governance, and ensure delivery quality while partnering with InfoSec and risk teams to comply with Canadian data residency and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Translate business capabilities into solution blueprints, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead hands-on development using Apex, Flows, LWC, SOQL, Async Apex, External Services, Named Credentials.
• Establish DevOps with Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and packaging.
• Enforce quality using PMD, CodeScan, automated testing, and performance testing.
• Manage environments, releases, sandboxes, seed data, and change control.
• Mentor developers and perform technical assessments.

Job Title: Salesforce Financial Cloud - Tech Lead

Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Mode: Hybrid (Min 4 Days WFO)

Pay Rate Range $ 57.14 - 58.82/hr.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN:

Mandatory Requirements Delivery & Leadership

• Translate business capabilities into solution blueprints, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead hands-on development using Apex, Flows, LWC, SOQL, Async Apex, External Services, Named Credentials.
• Establish DevOps with Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, and packaging.
• Enforce quality using PMD, CodeScan, automated testing, and performance testing.
• Manage environments, releases, sandboxes, seed data, and change control.
• Mentor developers and perform technical assessments.

Security, Risk & Compliance

• Implement Salesforce Shield, MFA, encryption, event monitoring, transaction security, and platform hardening.
• Ensure compliance with OSFI, PIPEDA, SOC2, records retention, consent, and Canadian data residency.
• Partner with InfoSec and Risk teams for threat modeling and penetration testing remediation.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as technical SME in workshops, design reviews, and steering committees.
• Create ADRs, architecture diagrams (C4/UML), decision logs, and deployment traceability.
• Drive value realization and technical governance.
