Job summary

iA in Canada seeks a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, integrate and evolve technology solutions that support the global customer experience. You will drive secure, high-quality solutions and contribute across CI/CD and API-driven integration.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of Salesforce experience, familiarity with Financial Services Cloud/Experience Cloud, and a solid foundation in Azure DevOps, Git, HTML/JS/CSS, and SQL Server, with bilingual FR/EN communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Salesforce experience.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps, Git, VS Code, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and SQL Server.
• Familiar with API integrations and event-driven architectures.
• Bilingual French and English communications abilities.
• College diploma or university degree in computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of insurance/financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate business needs with the Product Owner and end users.
• Participate in solution design and carry out development, configuration, and integration activities.
• Apply development best practices, architecture principles, and standards.
• Design secure solutions to protect digital information.
• Develop and execute automated tests throughout the lifecycle up to production.
• Measure and improve performance, robustness, and coverage of solutions.
• Implement and leverage CI/CD pipelines.
• Discuss technical decisions with peers and validate code produced by the team.
• Provide production support, including issue resolution and monitoring.
• Maintain complete documentation for sustainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning.
• Contribute to API and integration pattern delivery.

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and validating business needs in close collaboration with the Product Owner and end users;
• Participating in solution design and carrying out development, configuration, and integration activities using a "just enough, just in time" approach;
• Applying development best practices, design patterns, architecture principles, and standards supported by the Centers of Excellence;
• Designing secure solutions that ensure the protection and confidentiality of digital information;
• Developing and executing automated tests and other required testing activities throughout the development lifecycle, up to production deployment;
• Measuring and improving the performance, robustness, and functional coverage of developed solutions;
• Implementing and leveraging continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines;
• Discussing technical decisions with peers and contributing to the validation of code produced by the team;
• Providing technical support for production solutions, including issue resolution, maintenance, and monitoring;
• Maintaining complete and up-to-date documentation to ensure the sustainability of solutions;
• Actively participating in team activities, including planning sessions and Agile ceremonies;
• Contributing to the delivery of application and system integration solutions through APIs, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns.

• Has knowledge of development technologies such as Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio Code, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL Server;
• Has experience with object-oriented programming and a solid understanding of SOLID principles;
• Possesses knowledge of integration strategies, APIs, and event-driven architectures;
• Has knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts;
• Has a Salesforce certification and/or experience with MuleSoft, Data 360, Agentforce/Einstein, or Kafka (considered assets);
• Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry (an asset);
• Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as they will be required to communicate daily with English-speaking vendors across Canada through emails and phone calls.

The following experience and knowledge will be considered assets:

• Salesforce certification;
