iA Financial Group is modernizing its technology landscape through the Horizon Program, and this Tech Lead Salesforce role places you at the center of architecture and delivery. You will design scalable solutions, mentor teams, and ensure secure, compliant integration across enterprise systems.

You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and partners, lead DevSecOps practices, and leverage Salesforce technologies (LWC, Apex, OmniStudio) to accelerate digital transformation for Group

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience, incl 3+ years in a software design role.
• Strong expertise in SOLID, Clean Code, maintainability and testability.
• Hands-on Salesforce experience with LWC, Apex, OmniStudio and platform integrations.
• Proactive use of AI tools to improve productivity and quality of deliverables.
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI in cloud environments.
• Excellent English and French communication for cross‑team collaboration.
• Knowledge of insurance/financial services is an asset.

As a Tech Lead Salesforce, you will be at the heart of the modernization of our technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design detailed solution architectures and technical solutions aligned with business requirements and the technology directions of the Horizon Program.
• Develop and implement high-performing, secure, reusable software components fully integrated with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate closely with architects, analysts, development teams, and technology partners to ensure the consistency and sustainability of delivered solutions.
• Act as a technical reference for delivery teams by ensuring compliance with design, integration, development, and cybersecurity standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps practices and the automation of development, deployment, and operational environments.
• Participate in the support, operationalization, and evolution of applications and technology systems.
• Mentor and support resources involved in solution design and implementation while fostering knowledge sharing across teams.
• Participate in the resolution of major incidents and provide Level 3 production support based on the team’s established rotation schedule.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has more than 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 3 years in a software design role.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in modern software design principles, including SOLID, Clean Code, maintainability, testability, and component reusability.
• Uses artificial intelligence tools proactively, responsibly, and effectively to optimize work, improve deliverable quality, and contribute to the continuous improvement of team practices and processes.
• Is recognized for expertise in solution architecture, application integration, APIs, and microservices within complex enterprise environments.
• Has solid experience with DevSecOps practices and continuous integration in cloud-based environments.
• Stands out through strong technical leadership, influencing skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical thinking, rigor, and problem-solving abilities.
• Has hands-on experience with Salesforce and its enterprise components, including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, OmniStudio, and Salesforce platform integrations.
• Demonstrates a proactive and responsible approach to leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools to increase productivity and enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Has knowledge of the insurance industry or financial services sector (an asset).
• Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to collaborate, facilitate technical discussions, participate in solution design workshops, and interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues, vendors, and business partners located outside Québec on a weekly basis.
• Has an advanced level of French proficiency, as the incumbent will be required to interact with, analyze, and explain operational and technical issues to French-speaking business partners, stakeholders, and users on a regular basis.
