Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst/Functional Lead to drive delivery of Salesforce solutions in financial services.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, design end-to-end processes, create Epics and User Stories, and ensure compliance with security standards while guiding cross-functional teams in an agile environment. • Salesforce BA with relevant college/university/post-graduate degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as Functional Lead in Salesforce within financial industry.
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at enterprise scale in highly regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of banking workflows, customer/product lifecycle and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand objectives and current processes.
• Lead requirement workshops with Product Owners, architects, and tech leads.
• Propose Salesforce out-of-the-box solutions and design custom options with tech and UX teams.
• Present problem statements and options to the Salesforce design authority for review.
• Perform POC and impact analysis on Salesforce processes and data.
• Create Epics and User Stories ready for development; document in Confluence.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and lead refinement sessions.
• Support QA with functional scenarios and test case reviews.
• Assist in defect triage and resolution; ensure Salesforce best practices and security.

• Salesforce BA - Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Engineering or related education


• Good years of experience working as a Functional Lead in Salesforce and 5+ years experience financial industry


• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions at scale in a highly regulated, enterprise scale environments

• Ability to lead conversations with cross functional teams and engage effectively with executives, senior leaders and technical teams


• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, confluence and DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings

Roles and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, as-is and future state business processes and pain points


• Conduct workshops, interviews and requirement gathering and refinement sessions with Product owners and other relevant stakeholders - including architects and tech leads


• Identify and propose best possible Salesforce out of the box solution for the problem statement and if gaps exist, propose suitable custom solution in collaboration with tech lead and UX teams.


• Prepare and present material to Program Salesforce design authority for review of problem statement and proposed solution options to arrive at the best possible outcome that’s acceptable to business and technology teams


• Perform POC and impact analysis on existing Salesforce processes, config urations and data and present options to Product Owner


• Create functional artifacts such as solution refined Epics, broken down User stories ready for development, functional documentation summarized in confluence page.


• Participate in all scrum ceremonies and lead squad refinement sessions


• Support QA by providing functional scenarios, clarifying requirements and reviewing test cases against business needs


• Assist in defect triage and resolution


• Ensure compliance with Salesforce with best practices and security standards
