Job Opportunity: Sales Team Leader

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven sales leader to oversee our conquest accounts and inspire a team of high achievers in the Material Handling division. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies, contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  2. Account Management: Build strong relationships with major clients and identify solutions to exceed expectations.
  3. OEM Relationships: Collaborate with the Sales Director to maintain OEM partnerships.
  4. Sales Team Performance: Set targets, monitor performance, and ensure inventory aligns with sales needs.
  5. Team Development: Coach and develop the sales team through regular meetings and joint client visits.
  6. CRM Management: Maintain accurate sales records and ensure team compliance.
  7. Collaboration: Work with internal departments to support client service and team objectives.
  8. Market Insight: Monitor industry trends and maintain customer satisfaction.
  9. Relationship Building: Conduct in-person meetings to strengthen key relationships.
  10. Talent Management: Oversee HR compliance, training, performance reviews, and foster a positive culture.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned to support sales success.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Leadership potential to motivate high-performance teams.
  • Strong sales strategy and market analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and CRM systems.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Teams, and CRM software.
Training, Education, and Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in equipment or similar industry.
  • At least 2 years managing or coaching sales teams.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Compensation:
  • Earn $100,000+ OTE, with benefits including paid vacation, medical/dental, RRSP matching, and a company vehicle (if applicable).

Working Conditions:

The Sales Team Leader is based in Abbotsford, working 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with some travel across Canada and the US.
