JOB PURPOSE

Working with the Boutique Manager and/or Assistant Manager/Department Manager, the Sales Supervisor, FTJ, is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the boutique and achieving sales goals for specific product categories. The Sales Supervisor, FTJ, ensures the highest level of customer service in line with Christian Dior expectations:

  • Meet sales targets and minimize stock losses
  • Demonstrate excellent product and range knowledge
  • Participate in staffing, scheduling, merchandising, and inventory management
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate team members

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Performance and Team Management:
  • Maximize sales and monitor performance and conversion rates daily
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Assist in setting and monitoring sales goals for sales associates
  • Responsible for clientele development
  • Assist in preparing merchandise displays and presentations, applying merchandising concepts
  • Train, coach, and develop sales associates
  • Conduct store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, and product knowledge
  • Ensure effective communication between management and staff
Clientele Service and Management:
  • Coordinate sales promotion activities like seasonal sales, trunk shows, and contests
  • Train team on optimizing Capture Rate and post-sale customer database development
Product and Stock Management:
  • Handle merchandise transfers, damages, and RTVs
  • Oversee inventory processes
  • Monitor merchandise pricing
  • Minimize stock losses
Process Management:
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and standards
  • Address departmental issues affecting service and productivity
  • Oversee store security and compliance with security procedures
  • Perform any other assigned tasks
Skills and Competencies
  • Develop and train staff, build relationships, utilize team skills
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage sales staff to meet sales and clienteling goals
  • Operate boutique operations effectively
  • Merchandise effectively

Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years retail experience, with at least 1 year in management, preferably in luxury retail
  • Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury industry aligned with the brand
  • Ability to maintain a presence on the sales floor as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
