Sales Supervisor

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for performing all functions relating to merchandising, customer service, and general store operations. Each Sales Supervisor is assigned a primary area of responsibility relating to merchandising, customer service, or administrative functions, and all supervisors act as relief for one another. As first-line management, retail Sales Supervisors are responsible for directing employees toward achieving Company objectives and for effective and financially responsible daily operation of the store.

This position involves significant customer contact and requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while providing quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

Qualifications
  • An initiative to develop supervisory skills through experience and training, as well as a willingness to accept responsibility
  • Proven merchandising and customer service skills, with a high degree of productivity and a drive to complete tasks
  • Basic leadership and conflict resolution skills are assets
  • Preference given to applicants with at least one year of management retail experience
Additional Requirements
  • A positive, mature, outgoing leadership style
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A basic understanding of company policies and procedures
Work Hours

Sales Supervisors will be scheduled for 40 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. The position may require transfers between stores or working at different locations based on organizational needs and career development opportunities. Mode of transportation is the responsibility of the employee.
