• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Resolve issues such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers

Support for newcomers and refugees

• Support social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees (e.g., facilitating access to community resources, language and skills training)
• Recruit newcomers and/or refugees displaced by conflict or natural disasters (e.g., Ukraine, Afghanistan)
• Assist with foreign credential recognition
• Offer mentorship programs pairing newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
• Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to foster a welcoming work environment
• Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
• Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities, businesses, and organizations
• Provide cultural competency and awareness training for all employees
• Facilitate access to Elders for support and guidance to Indigenous workers

Support for visible minorities

• Implement hiring policies that discourage discrimination, such as anonymized applications
• Offer mentorship programs pairing visible minorities with experienced employees
• Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create an inclusive workplace
