Job summary

Spicers Canada ULC is seeking a full-time Sales Representative, Graphics to join the Western and Central Canada team. You will conduct proactive outbound sales calls, generate leads, engage customers, and drive account growth in a fast-paced printing industry environment.

Under the Sales Manager, you will receive orders, assist clients with the GOSpicers site, provide product information and substitutions, and work to optimize purchasing decisions while maintaining high service levels and

• Completion of a bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field considered an asset.
• Experience in the professional sales industry.

• Ability to do cold calling on customers (outbound sales calls).

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outbound sales calls, focusing on lead generation, customer engagement, account growth, and driving revenue opportunities.
• Tele-market with respect to lead/sales generation and development, including identifying new prospects and reengaging existing customers.
• Receive customer orders and inquiries by telephone, fax, or email and process orders in a professional and courteous manner.
• Receive, process, and adjust orders, and assist customers as required with the online GOSpicers site.
• Provide the highest level of service to customers, including product information, product substitutions, and recommendations to optimize purchasing efficiency.
• Receive customer complaints, research issues, and initiate corrective action to resolve problems.
• Keep Sales Consultants apprised of activities concerning established customers and communicate information on new customer concerns.
• Liaise with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure customer contracts are accurate and updated on a timely basis.
• Identify opportunities for mill support and margin improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Backed by a fifth-generation family-owned company, Spicers is a leading distributor of commercial print and business papers, specialty products, graphic solutions, sign & display equipment and materials, and packaging and facility supplies and equipment.

We're based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 13 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites.

We are currently looking for a full-time Sales Representative, Graphics, reporting to the Sales Manager, Sign and Display, Western and Central Canada.

Your Challenge

Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, Graphic Systems Group, Western and Central Canada, the duties and responsibilities of the Sales Representative include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conduct proactive outbound sales calls, focusing on lead generation, customer engagement, account growth, and driving revenue opportunities;
• Tele-market with respect to lead/sales generation and development, including identifying new prospects and reengaging existing customers;

Working Conditions

• Able to work on a computer for numerous hours which may result in strain on wrists, eyes, back, etc.;
• Ability to work in a busy, open area office;
• May have to spend long hours in concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy;
• This position faces a number of deadlines which may cause significant stress; and
• Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
