Job description

This position is responsible for maximizing sales of TKM products using technical, industry, and customer-level knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying our products to their needs.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Direct sales through maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
  2. Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business
  3. Negotiating terms of an agreement and closing sales
  4. Gathering market and customer information
  5. Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with customer support
  6. Advising customers on forthcoming product developments
  7. Liaison when needed with customer support to check on the progress of existing orders
  8. Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  9. Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
  10. Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  11. Providing feedback to management of future buying trends
  12. Technical resource to customers as needed
  13. Travel a minimum 60% within region with some limited international travel

4-5 years of professional experience in the sale of products requiring technical explanation is an advantage.
