Job summary

Essity is seeking a Sales Reporting Analyst to support sales analytics for Incontinence & Medical divisions in a hybrid role based near Toronto (Oakville area). The role emphasizes data-driven insights, profitability analysis, and collaboration across finance and sales teams.

Travel to Essity offices may be required. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of financial analysis experience, strong Excel, SAP, and Power BI skills, and a degree in Finance or Business.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capability are required.
• Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large sales data.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely sales and gross profit data using distributor throughput and internal sales data.
• Consolidate monthly distributor sales data for standardization and reliability.
• Coordinate with distributor partners for data receipt and validation.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve data load issues and ensure system accuracy.
• Publish monthly sales and margin reports to stakeholders using MS Office and Power BI.
• Support ad-hoc finance requests and cross-functional data analysis.
• Drive insights to support better decision making and performance.
• Travel up to 10% for stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

Essity is looking for a Sales Reporting Analyst that will support direct & distributor customers sales analytics for both of our Incontinence & medical divisions, financial analysis, including some aspects of profit center accounting and control, operational analysis, and financial systems and procedures in adherence with prescribed corporate policies and BU guidelines. This role is responsible for supporting local operations with sales analytics, insights & trends, accounts assignments & updates in multiple system platforms, financial reports generation. The role will provide visibility to customers sales trend & profitability. It also supports Geographic, territory, regional & national sales & margins. The role supports the organization in driving and ensuring successful financial management, control and analysis.

This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate should live in the Greater Toronto area with ability to travel to Essity’s office in Oakville 3 days a week.

What You Will Do

• Provide in a timely manner, sales & Gross profit data applying a combination of distributor’s through-put sales information & internal sales to Essity’s direct customers.

• Streamline & consolidate monthly distributor’s sales data utilizing Essity’s technology for standardization, accuracy & data reliability.

• Laise with distributor partners to ensure prompt receipt of sales data & validation for reasonability.

• Connect with Essity technology team to resolve issues that may arise during data load & ensuring accuracy in Essity’s systems.

• Publish monthly sales & margin reports to all stakeholders utilizing Microsoft office tools & Power Business Intelligence (PBI)

• Understand basic financial terms & utilize in reporting analytics

• Fulfill ad-hoc requests from different functional groups in a timely manner.

• Utilize data and analytics tools to create insights and intelligence that drive better decision making and effectiveness.

• Perform other essential business functions within the finance role as may be required.

• Participate in cross business Controlling Network activities & ensure compliance with Essity’s finance policies

Who You Are

• Strong analytical & technical skill & comfortable with working on mass sales data

• 2+ years of financial analyst experience

• Degree in Finance or Business preferred

• Advanced Excel skills, proficient in SAP, PowerPoint and Word.

• Knowledge of Business Warehouse, and PowerBI

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills

• Proven problem solving and collaborating skills

• Requires strong presentation and interpersonal skills and is comfortable with frequent internal customer interaction

• Ability to travel (10%)
