Job description

Formwork Contractor seeking experienced and business-minded Sales / Project Coordinator who will support the Sales Team in all initiatives and work assignments received from Senior Sales Representatives in Vancouver. Salary $65,000 – $85,000. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role.

Duties & Responsibilities of Sales / Project Coordinator
  • Assists with material take offs
  • Assist with creating and tracking quotations
  • Maintains records of projects to properly manage job sites; generates other reports as required.
  • Determine preliminary equipment availability.
  • Consults with engineering and operations departments as required.
  • Attend internal and customer meetings as required and record and prepare written minutes and action item logs
  • Attend project kick off meetings and record minutes
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications of Sales / Project Coordinator:
  • College diploma in Engineering/Project Management/Business Administration is an asset
  • Strong ability to read blueprints; ability to visualize forming and shoring schemes
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (construction industry preferred)
  • Computer proficient: Microsoft Office (MS Word, Intermediate Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of forming and shoring equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer oriented attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
