Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; trade experience is an asset.
  • 2–3 years of automotive sales experience with proven professional customer service and sales performance.
  • Advanced automotive system knowledge and parts knowledge; experience with POS systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of store operations and inventory processes.
  • Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and manuals.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Full valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of customer service to commercial and DIY customers; identify automotive problems and provide recommendations.
  • Source parts from stores, hubs, distribution centers, and external suppliers for special orders.
  • Maintain showroom displays and keep the store clean and professional.
  • Manage daily inventory, conduct cycle counts, and support annual inventory.
  • Perform tasks such as paint mixing, hydraulic hose making, battery testing, and wiper installations.
  • Coordinate delivery drivers with the Store Manager; ensure delivery standards.
  • Safely deliver parts to commercial customers using company vehicles as needed.
  • Carry out key holder duties and other ad hoc duties assigned by Store Manager.

Our sales pro are responsible for:
  • Deliver high standards of customer service to commercial and DIY customers, providing project assistance through identifying automotive problems and making appropriate recommendations
  • Source parts from stores, hubs, distribution centers, and external suppliers for special orders, building and maintaining a network of secondary source suppliers
  • Maintain showroom displays, work areas, and customer-facing spaces to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment that meets store operational standards
  • Responsible for daily inventory management, including checking for discrepancies, putting away stock and processing returns, as well as supporting cycle count and the annual inventory process.
  • Perform specialty tasks such as mixing paint, operating the hydraulic hose maker, battery testing and wiper installations
  • Partner with Store Manager to coordinate delivery drivers, ensuring delivery standards are achieved
  • Safely and efficiently deliver parts to commercial customers using company vehicles when required
  • Carry out key holder responsibilities (store opening and closing duties and contributing to a safe work environment) and completion of other ad hoc duties as assigned by Store Manager
What you bring to the team:
  • High school diploma or GED; trade experience is an asset.
  • 2–3 years of automotive sales experience with proven professional customer service and sales performance to achieve personal and store sales goals
  • Advanced automotive system knowledge, parts knowledge, experience with POS and can provide advanced automotive problem resolution including identification and project assistance for customers
  • In-depth knowledge of store operations and general knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
  • Demonstrates clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematics with accuracy
  • Effective communication in English (French is a plus); bilingual preferred where applicable
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Full valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record and have strong driving and navigation ability
  • Available to work an assortment of days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

Compensation Range: The range of expected compensation for this role is between 17.95 CAD and 21.55 CAD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
