Brandt is currently seeking a Sales Manager for the GTA. This position is responsible for sales growth and profitability of the Material Handling wholegoods division.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including but not limited to new and used Material Handling Wholegood inventory.
- Provide the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
- Manage and develop all employees in the Material Handling Sales Department to build a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
- Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
- Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
- Assist in managing Branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit and VP of Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity.
- Experience in the Material Handling industry strongly preferred.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
- Confident in decision-making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
- Must be available to travel as needed.
