Leon’s is seeking a self-motivated Sales Manager who is enthusiastic, hardworking and driven toward success. The ideal candidate will lead the sales team, manage floor operations and uphold our core values of honesty, integrity and hard work.

• Manage the sales team and store floor operations.
• Train and develop staff to improve performance.
• Interview and hire new team members.
• Schedule to meet provincial requirements.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints.
• Forecast sales and ensure targets are met.
• Review daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Drive performance and action plans.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Oversee daily store operations and safety.
• Monitor competitors and market trends.
• Lead sales meetings and promotions.
• Support ongoing training on products and selling techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Managing sales team; floor management
• Training and people development
• Interviewing and hiring
• Scheduling: ensuring provincial legislative requirements met
• Resolving customer issues
• Sales forecasting and ensuring targets are met (volume, value added products and services, etc.)
• Evaluating and managing daily, weekly, monthly quarterly sales reports
• Performance management and developing action plans
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are met
• Managing daily operations within the store
• Ensuring general safety and security of store and employees
• Shopping the competition
• Daily and weekly sales meetings
• Preparation and management of sales promotions and contests
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

The starting rate for this position is X; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
