Leon’s Furniture in Canada is seeking a self-motivated Sales Manager who will lead the sales team, drive results, and uphold our core values of honesty, integrity and hard work.

You will manage daily store operations, hire and train staff, forecast sales, and implement promotions while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Managing sales team; floor management
• Training and people development
• Interviewing and hiring
• Scheduling: ensuring provincial legislative requirements met
• Resolving customer issues
• Sales forecasting and ensuring targets are met (volume, value added products and services, etc.)
• Evaluating and managing daily, weekly, monthly quarterly sales reports
• Performance management and developing action plans
• Ensuring company policies and procedures are met
• Managing daily operations within the store
• Ensuring general safety and security of store and employees
• Shopping the competition
• Daily and weekly sales meetings
• Preparation and management of sales promotions and contests
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

The starting rate for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 plus bonus and profit sharing; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
