Job description

I’m excited to announce that Venor has partnered with Verge Technologies in their search for an experienced Sales Manager to work with their team of Account Executives and Technical Solutions Designers. This permanent, full-time role is based out of their Dartmouth office and is an additional hire due to company growth, aligned with their strategic development plans.

About Verge Technologies:

Verge Technologies has 20 years of experience in communications and security infrastructure. They aim to provide cutting-edge technology solutions to help their customers succeed. With offices in Burnside, NS, and Moncton, NB, they serve organizations across the Maritimes with plans to expand further.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate your team by example.
  • Provide tailored coaching to team members.
  • Develop and refine sales strategies and processes.
  • Delegate responsibilities to empower your team.
  • Collaborate with vendors, solution designers, and executives on go-to-market strategies across Communication Cabling, Pro Audio-Visual, and Security & Life-Safety offerings.
  • Work with the executive team on marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Assist Operations and Administration teams as organizational procedures are developed and implemented.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 10+ years in B2B technology sales and management.
  • Experience in Structured Cabling, Pro Audio-Visual, and Security & Life-Safety preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT environments and professional services.
  • Proficiency with technology, especially D-Tools and Office 365.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the Maritime provinces.
