Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies in Toronto is seeking a Sales Estimator to maximize profitable contracts by leading estimating and bid administration. You will collaborate with the Sales, Design, and PMO teams to deliver high-quality cost proposals based on drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include preparing budgets, developing labor and material estimates, coordinating with subcontractors, and obtaining competitive prices.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in the construction, data networking, and/or telecommunications industry.
• 1–3 years' experience in a technical sales role, project coordination/management, or quoting/estimation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac OS, and project/quoting software.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Must have valid driver's license.

As a Sales Estimator with Bosch Building Technologies, your main responsibility will be to maximize the award of profitable contracts by leading estimating and bid administration activities. You will work closely with the Sales, Design, and Project Management team to ensure that our customers are provided with the highest quality service.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous and progressive experience as an Estimator in the low voltage industry with demonstrated success completing complicated estimates/designs involving access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, IP networks, intercom, duress, and/or structured cabling.
• Experience estimating projects worth between $250K-$500K or larger
• Experience working with some or all the following systems is preferred:
  • Access Control - LenelS2, Software House, Avigilon, Kantech, Genetec, AMAG, RBH
  • CCTV – Milestone, Avigilon, Genetec,
  • Intrusion – Bosch, DSC, DMP, Senstar, Southwest Microwave,
  • Network Switching – Cisco, Ruckus, HPE,
  • RTLS – Actall, Guard RFID,
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) – Schneider, Omron
• Bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset.
• Experience in a technical sales role or system design would be considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mac OS, and project / quoting software
• Post-secondary education in electronics, electrical, or equivalent would be considered an asset
• Excellent organization and attention to detail

Salary Range

$53,300 - $76,678.68 (DOE)
