About the Opportunity:

I am currently hiring on behalf of one of my clients, a well-established and growing decal and graphic solutions company—for the role of Estimator. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with Sales and Production teams to generate accurate and competitive cost estimates.

This position plays a crucial role in supporting business growth by ensuring pricing strategies are both customer-focused and financially sound.

Key Responsibilities

Quotation & Proposal Development

  • Prepare timely and detailed cost estimates for incoming customer requests
  • Evaluate material costs, labor, production time, and other variables to ensure pricing accuracy
  • Collaborate with the Sales Representative and Sales Manager to finalize client proposals
  • Work with Production to validate pricing feasibility and confirm lead times
  • Support Sales in building deals that are both competitive and profitable
  • Contribute to ongoing pricing strategy refinement based on market trends

Process Management

  • Maintain a well-organized system for tracking and managing quotations, changes, and approvals
  • Ensure consistent pricing across product categories and customer types
  • Identify pricing trends and propose process improvements
  • Analyze historical estimate accuracy compared to actual production costs
  • Help enhance estimation tools and turnaround times
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Operations to evolve pricing methodologies based on current data

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Teams, SharePoint), with advanced Excel skills
  • Prior experience in estimation, costing, or pricing within a manufacturing, printing, or related industry
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
  • A customer-first mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
  • A valid driver’s license is preferred

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of or experience within the decals, printing, or graphic design industry
