Job description

About the Role

Mizo helps managed service providers (MSPs) become Managed Intelligence Providers by using AI agents to automate ticket triage, dispatch, resolution assistance, documentation, and QA. The Sales Director, Enterprise Accounts leads Mizo's commercial development for the North American market, from defining strategy through signing and growing strategic accounts.

This role sits at the intersection of complex sales, team leadership, and deep knowledge of the MSP world. Selling AI agents to MSPs isn't a typical SaaS sale: it means convincing demanding, often automation-skeptical technical teams using concrete proof from their own data rather than a generic pitch. You won't just execute an existing playbook - you'll shape Mizo's commercial strategy in Canada, build and coach the team that drives it, and adapt the approach with every sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities of the sales and enterprise account management function.
  • Define goals, priorities, territories, account plans, forecasts, and commercial strategy for the North American market.
  • Establish and evolve the policies, procedures, methods, and performance indicators related to sales, prospecting, qualification, and opportunity follow-up.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for new offerings, features, and markets based on needs observed among customers and prospects.
  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial qualification through signature, including demos, scoping workshops, and executive presentations.
  • Develop and maintain lasting relationships with decision-makers, operations leadership, IT teams, procurement, and business partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, SaaS subscriptions, professional services, renewals, and commercial agreements while protecting the company's interests and the long-term relationship.
  • Proactively manage strategic accounts, anticipate their needs, support retention, and identify opportunities for expansion, upsell, and renewal.
Team Management & Coordination
  • Lead, organize, train, coach, and evaluate members of the sales and account management team; participate in recruiting when needed.
  • Assign responsibilities, set individual and team goals, track results, and put corrective actions in place as needed.
  • Collaborate with marketing to define messaging, campaigns, and market development initiatives, then relay relevant information to field teams.
  • Coordinate sales activities with project management, product, support, and leadership teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to implementation to ongoing customer support.
Analysis, Performance & Market Development
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales, forecasts, account performance, market trends, risks, and key performance indicators.
  • Use CRM data and sales analytics to improve conversion rates, portfolio quality, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, influence networks, and business channels relevant to accelerating Mizo's growth.
Required Qualifications
  • Two years of relevant experience in enterprise account management, business development, sales leadership, or complex B2B SaaS sales.
  • Demonstrated experience defining a sales strategy, setting goals, managing a sales portfolio, and driving performance indicators.
  • Minimum of one year of prior experience in the managed service provider (MSP) space.
  • Sales experience selling AI solutions or agents to the MSP market in North America.
  • Experience running complex sales cycles with large organizations, including needs analysis, demos, RFPs, negotiation, and closing SaaS and professional services contracts.
  • Deep knowledge of IT solutions, configurable SaaS platforms, integration challenges, and business process digitization trends.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Professional fluency in French and English, spoken and written, to engage with the company's French- and English-speaking customers in Canada and internationally.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple strategic priorities simultaneously, and collaborate with multidisciplinary, international teams.
  • University degree in business administration, commerce, management, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Sales experience with North American MSPs that have already adopted PSA tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, HaloPSA) or automation platforms.
  • Direct knowledge of service desk challenges and the technical culture of the teams that run them.
  • Experience with Pipedrive or a comparable CRM, and documentation tools like Notion.
  • Existing network within the North American MSP ecosystem.
  • Comfortable being on-site at the office.
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation: guaranteed base salary of $46.15 to $56.25 CAD/hour - roughly $89,993 to $109,688 CAD per year for 37.5 hours per week, based on experience and responsibilities - plus additional variable compensation tied to goal achievement.
  • Four weeks of annual vacation and equipment provided.
  • High autonomy: you build the North American sales strategy and the team that drives it.
  • Montreal office: you'll work from our Montreal office.
  • Direct impact: your work determines how fast Mizo breaks into the North American MSP market.
  • Growth trajectory: join at an early stage in a fast-growing sector.

This is a chance to join before the growth curve steepens. You'll work directly with the founding team and see the impact of your work quickly.
