About The Role

Are you energetic, creative, and ready for a fast-paced SaaS environment? Planful seeks to expand its Sales Development team to meet growing demand. You will develop skills to filter and qualify outbound interest, generate pipeline, and assist prospects with their business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Execute outbound activities using the Planful tech stack
  • Conduct discussions with prospects over the phone to identify and qualify opportunities
  • Understand finance users’ pain points, gather requirements, and relate business value to customer needs
  • Partner with Account Executives to strategize outbound approaches
  • Learn about the MM industry and the value of our solutions
  • Achieve quarterly quota
  • Provide detailed call notes to the Account Executive team
  • Maintain customer information in Salesforce.com
What You Bring To The Table
  • 6-12 months in a Top-of-Funnel sales role preferred; SaaS or Internet experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driven, detail-oriented, team player with a hunter mentality
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills; results-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach is a plus
  • Passionate about a career in technology/SaaS sales
  • Proven track record of overachieving quotas
  • Comfortable working remotely and accountable
  • Proactive, coachable, and eager to improve
