Job summary

Extendicare is seeking a results-driven Sales Consultant in Canada, Ontario, to manage client relationships in a fast-paced setting and expand Extendicare's presence in the local community. You will lead tours, drive occupancy sales, and collaborate with the management team to highlight the residence's value to residents and families.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, relationship-building with local stakeholders, and delivering a best-in-class sales experience through Extendicare's sales

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related service-industry field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct sales experience with demonstrated success.
• Strong customer-focused and relationship-building sales experience.
• Proficiency with common business applications, including CRM systems.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the local community as required.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Business Development: identify potential sales leads, build and maintain a lead database, meet and exceed occupancy sales targets, establish yourself as a resident-focused leader, contribute to resident satisfaction.

Mission

As a Sales Consultant, you will manage relationships with our clients in a fast-paced environment. You are a proactive self-starter who can effectively multitask while identifying opportunities to expand Extendicare's presence in the local community and build strong prospective client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

• Creatively identify potential sales leads.
• Build and maintain a well-developed lead database.
• Meet and exceed occupancy sales targets.
• Establish yourself as a resident-focused leader within the local community.
• Contribute to high levels of resident satisfaction.
• Demonstrate and uphold Extendicare's values while encouraging others to do the same.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Executive Director and members of the management team to coordinate compelling tours and effectively communicate the advantages of the community.

Sales Management

• Effectively manage the entire sales process using the Extendicare Way to Sell.
• Successfully close qualified prospects while actively managing and maintaining the lead database.

Community Outreach and Marketing

• Actively promote the retirement residence through outreach initiatives, marketing activities, tours, and the coordination of events that showcase the residence as a preferred choice.

Compliance

• Master and utilize the Extendicare Way to Sell program, sales standards, and communication systems in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Relationship Building

• Build and maintain strong relationships with:
  • Local community stakeholders
  • Current and prospective residents
  • Employees and managers
  • Regional support team members

Customer Experience

• Deliver a best-in-class sales experience by combining your creative sales expertise with Extendicare's proven sales process.
