Join to apply for the Sales Consultant - Automotive Sales role at The Reynolds and Reynolds Company .

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced sales professionals for our variable operations sales team. Our superior software solutions, along with our award-winning sales, service, and support, have established us as a leading and respected name in the automotive industry.

As a Sales Consultant, your main responsibility will be to promote Reynolds’ products to automotive dealerships' Sales and Finance & Insurance departments within your territory. You will serve as a subject matter expert on our Contact Management, docuPAD, Integrated Document Management, Desking, and Callbright solutions, working with the local Account Manager to demo and close sales. This role offers a company car for both business and personal use, along with an iPad, iPhone, Surface Pro, and home office equipment.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Manage client business to achieve profitability and revenue goals.
  • Upsell current customers and expand market presence.
  • Understand client needs and tailor existing business programs accordingly.
  • Develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Inform clients about company products, services, and promotions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, cold-calling, upselling, and closing.
  • Stay updated on company products and services.

Working Conditions :

  • Travel to and from customer sites, including driving and flying within Canada.
  • Customer visits may require standing for up to 8 hours, with a 1-hour lunch break.
  • Packing, lifting, and carrying personal luggage up to 50 lbs (discretionary), 15 minutes to 1 hour daily.
  • Use of hands for grasping and manipulation for 3-6 hours daily (pointer / mouse).
  • Viewing a computer screen up to 8 hours daily.
  • Assisting with demonstration equipment setup for 30 minutes to 1 hour daily.
