O'Regan's Automotive Group is seeking a Sales Consultant for our South Shore Bridgewater, NS location. You will engage with customers to understand vehicle requirements, present suitable options, and guide them from inquiry to delivery.

You will greet customers, conduct needs assessments, demonstrate vehicles, prepare quotes, and explain financing and warranty options. A strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and teamwork with service and finance channels is required.

Role Description

The Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at O'Regan's South Shore in Bridgewater, NS. In this position, the Sales Consultant will engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs, present suitable options, and guide them through the entire sales process from initial inquiry to delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting and demonstrating vehicles, preparing quotations, and explaining financing and warranty options. The role also involves maintaining product knowledge, following up with prospective and existing customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and accurately completing sales documentation. The Sales Consultant will collaborate with colleagues in service, finance, and administration to provide a seamless customer experience and support dealership sales targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Sales Consulting and Consulting to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicle solutions.
• Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction focus, with a commitment to building long-term relationships.
• Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal communication, and professional written correspondence.
• Previous experience in automotive sales or retail sales is an asset, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Comfort with using CRM systems and basic computer applications to manage customer information and sales processes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to confidently demonstrate vehicles.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an asset.
