Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing information to current and future residents with exceptional customer care.
• Presenting suites through property viewings.
• Accepting rental applications for processing.
• Providing proactive administrative support for applications and correspondence.
• Maintaining regular contact with the resident community for follow-up.
• Organizing and participating in Resident Community Events.
• Inspecting suites to ensure quality standards.
• Using internal systems for recording client activities.
• Supporting team members to contribute to a positive environment.
• Performing other required duties.

The Opportunity

This posting is a current vacancy.

We are looking for a Community Leasing Agent to join the InterRent leasing team.

This role is best suited for someone who has discovered a love of real estate, shows an understanding of the sales cycle, and demonstrates effective listening skills.

You will be working with prospective residents and need to be a strong brand representative investing time learning about our communities and properties.

As a Leasing Agent, you will promote our services, amenities, and new lifestyle options available throughout our InterRent communities. Our Real Estate Foundations Program provides opportunity for professional career growth.

Compensation

• $45,000 - $47,000 annually plus uncapped commission. Top performers have the potential to earn $60,000-$70,000 year.

Responsibilities (at a minimum)

• Providing information to current and future residents using exceptional customer care skills and a level of responsiveness unmatched in the industry
• Presenting suites (conducting property viewings)
• Accepting rental applications for review and processing
• Providing necessary and proactive administrative support to ensure efficient processing of applications and correspondence
• Handling all inquiries and maintaining regular contact with the resident community to ensure complete follow up and resolution
• Organizing and participating in Resident Community Events
• Inspecting suites to ensure quality standards are continuously achieved
• Using internal systems to collect, record and track activities and items of benefit or concern from our clients
• Contributing to a positive team environment by supporting team members
• Performing other duties as required

Must haves

• Knowledge or experience in sales

• In Ontario, candidate must be fluent written and spoken skills in English.

• Must be available to work flexible hours including weekend availability
• This role requires a mandatory full-time-in-office schedule (5 days/week)
