Job summary

Wine Rack is seeking a Wine Merchant in Ontario, Vankleek Hill to provide exceptional customer service while learning Arterra’s award-winning wines. You will handle POS transactions, merchandising, and assist with shipments in a friendly store environment.

You should be passionate about wine and customer experience, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, and possess Smart Serve certification. Join a team with a strong culture and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 21 kilograms and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment.
• Meet and exceed shift targets and assist customers.

• 19 years of age or older. High School or equivalent education is required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job include lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.

Compensation : $18.20/hr
