Job summary

Roots in Ottawa is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service, promote our values, and develop customers for life. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help maintain store standards and create a welcoming shopping experience.

You’ll handle POS transactions, merchandise presentation, restocking, and visual displays, while building relationships and understanding customer needs to drive loyalty.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, preferably in apparel.
• Strong ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Understanding of retail operations: store standards, cash handling, and merchandising.
• Self-starter with good judgment in all situations.
• Excellent presentation skills in a retail environment.
• Upbeat, optimistic, passionate and friendly.
• Ability to understand customer needs.
• Ability to build buy-in to ideas, decisions, actions, products, or services.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues effectively at store level promptly.
