GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience at LensCrafters. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Consistently deliver sales goals and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
2. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and coatings.
3. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers find the perfect vision solution.
4. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
5. Participate actively in creating a positive store environment, fostering professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
6. Maintain the store's appearance, keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
7. Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
3. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, calculators, and basic math skills
4. Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt to change with high accuracy
5. Ability to sell using sales skills and take accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
6. Strong communication skills (oral and written)
7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a fast-changing environment

Pay Range: $21.73 per hour

Employee pay depends on factors like geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage laws. You may also be eligible for bonuses and commissions, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.
