Job summary

The Wine Shop in Niagara region, St. Catharines is seeking friendly teammates to deliver exceptional customer service and wine knowledge. You will assist customers, handle transactions, help with displays, and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.

We require 2 years of customer service, Smart Serve certification, and flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lifting up to 40 lbs is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling is an asset.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Wine knowledge is an asset.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player who contributes to the team's efforts.
