Job summary

Staples Canada in Whitehorse, Yukon invites you to join our retail team as a Retail Associate. You will deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales across furniture, technology and supplies, and help achieve store goals with leadership.

Job Description
Some of what you will do

• Deliver exceptional customer service and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
• Drive sales in the furniture, technology and supplies areas of the store.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
