Staples in Canada is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to support sales across furniture, technology, and supplies. You will engage customers, process transactions with the POS system, and help maintain merchandising standards in a busy store environment in Bridgewater, NS.

Ideal candidates bring 3 months to 1 year of retail experience, strong communication, and a collaborative team mindset. This role offers benefits and opportunities for development within the Staples brand.

• Drive sales in the furniture, technology and supplies areas of the store.
• Set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
