Staples in Powell River, BC is hiring a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales across furniture, technology and office supplies. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and maintain store standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to resolve issues calmly while promoting the Staples experience through every interaction.

Formación

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Specifically, you will

• Engage with and sell to all our customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
