Job summary

Staples Canada in Orangeville, Ontario is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver exceptional service and drive sales across furniture, technology and office supplies.

You will handle transactions at the POS, maintain store standards and product presentation, and contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment. The role offers associate discounts and flexible benefit options.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Engage with and sell to all customers by offering tailored products and services using all tools and techniques available in our selling model to anticipate and meet future customer needs.
• Handle transactions using the POS system, including shipping transactions and marketing tools to convert customers.
• Calmly de-escalate and assist in complex customer situations to ensure their concerns are addressed effectively or refer to a manager/supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks like dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.
