Job summary

Andrew Peller Limited is seeking enthusiastic sales professionals for The Wine Shop in Ontario. You will help customers select wines, share wine knowledge, and ensure a superior shopping experience.

Join a team focused on delivering exceptional service, merchandising products, and building customer relationships while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and till balancing. A flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regularly capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide total customer satisfaction with outstanding service.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information.
• Support merchandising and light shelf maintenance.
• Handle cash and balance the till accurately.
• Follow Health and Safety rules and contribute to a safe workplace.
• Be a collaborative team player contributing to team efforts.

We are looking for professional, passionate sales individuals who are focused on delivering a superior shopping experience to our customers.

We are looking for a teammate with:

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset
• 2 years of customer service experience required
• Smart Serve Certification
• Working knowledge of Windows application including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis

This teammate will be accountable for:

• Ensuring total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service is provided to every customer
• Assist customers with their purchases and provides them with product information when required
• Assists with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace
• Team player who contributes equally to the team's efforts.
