Job summary

The Wine Shop, part of Andrew Peller Limited, seeks an enthusiastic teammate to deliver exceptional customer service and expert product guidance. You will assist customers, manage point-of-sale transactions, and support merchandising while ensuring a welcoming shopping experience.

We offer competitive hourly pay starting at CAD 17.60, monthly wine allotment, and opportunities for wine education and growth within a supportive team. Accommodation of disabilities is available upon request.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash is an asset.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and displays.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.
