Job summary

The Wine Shop at Andrew Peller Limited is hiring a customer-focused associate to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will help customers select wine, provide knowledgeable guidance, and process transactions accurately in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of experience, a Smart Serve certificate, and familiarity with Windows apps and POS systems. Ability to lift 40 lbs, and availability on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based POS systems and handling cash.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift 40lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when needed.
• Assist with shipments and merchandising, including light shelf/display cleaning.
• Handle cash and balance till accurately.
• Adhere to Health and Safety rules and security policies.
• Be a team player contributing to store goals.
