Job summary

GUESS in Saint-Bruno-De-Montarville is seeking a Sales Associate responsible for driving sales and delivering a positive customer experience, while handling everyday store operations such as housekeeping and visual presentation.

You will greet customers, share current product information, assist in fitting rooms, process payments at the cash wrap, maintain a tidy sales floor, and support inventory and store meetings.

Position Overview

The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The role also includes a range of operational duties such as housekeeping, visual presentation, and other tasks assigned by store management.

Essential Functions

Customer Experience

• Greeting customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile.
• Creating a positive first impression through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Maintaining a clean, organized environment in line with store standards.
• Providing current, relevant product information to customers.
• Offering quality service in fitting rooms, following up with customers, and attempting to add on to the sale.
• Providing efficient service at the cash wrap, offering Gift Cards, keeping the cash wrap area clean, and capturing customer information in the database.
• Sincerely thanking all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

Cooperation & Dependability

• Completing all duties assigned by management satisfactorily.
• Being punctual and adhering to the designated work schedule.
• Working well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Following GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
• Performing housekeeping duties as required.

Personal Performance

• Meeting or exceeding the Sales per Hour (SPH) results assigned by management.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Participating in all store meetings and functions.

• Meeting physical requirements: lifting heavy items, standing for eight hours, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing frequently.
