At The Carpet Store, we have been proudly providing quality flooring products for over 30 years. We have a wide selection of products including tile, vinyl, natural stone, carpet, hardwood and laminate for both residential and commercial clientele. We also cover a wide variety of installations which include flooring, backsplashes, shower/tubs and feature walls for new custom builds or renovations.

We are looking to hire a full-time or potentially a part-time permanent Flooring Sales Specialist with excellent customer service skills to join our team. Hours required are "around 3 weekdays per week 9am to 6pm" and "Saturday 10am till 5pm".

Responsibilities Include:

• assisting customers in showroom with flooring selections
• providing take-offs & estimates
• ordering material
• processing payments
• scheduling installations
• managing projects and follow up with customers
• assisting estimators when needed

Qualifications:

• Prior work experience in sales is ideal
• Experience with Windows, Excel and Email

Wage will be based on experience and qualifications.

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
