About the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Associate to represent Bloomstar in our retail environment.

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting floral products, and ensuring the store remains organized and welcoming. The ideal candidate has a passion for flowers, strong interpersonal skills, and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Provide product information, pricing details, and after-sales care.
• Suggest products or services that best meet customer needs and preferences.
• Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Handle merchandise returns courteously and efficiently.

Cash Transactions

• Ring up sales, process payments, and handle refunds accurately.
• Handling cash transactions accurately (receiving, counting, and giving change)
• Operating cash registers and point of sale (POS) systems
• Providing customer service while managing transactions efficiently
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Set up and arrange product displays on the sales floor.
• Unpack and organize product orders while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Share customer feedback and suggestions with the Store Manager.
• Customer-Centric Service - Delivers a friendly, engaging, and personalized shopping experience, helping customers select floral products that meet their needs and create memorable moments.
• Communication & Team Collaboration - Communicates clearly and builds positive relationships with customers and team members to support a cohesive and welcoming store environment.
• Attention to Detail & Accountability - Ensures accuracy in cash handling, product information, and store presentation while taking ownership of daily responsibilities.
• Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment - Maintains efficiency and composure during busy periods, quickly adjusting to changing priorities and customer demands.

Qualifications
