Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Sales Associate, you'll be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You'll share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while being hyper-focused on the in-store experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. You'll be impressed by your product knowledge, customer experience skills, and your ability to create a welcoming environment.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards.
• Operate the register to process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and assist with options like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes, including updates to store layout, fixtures, and merchandising displays.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of store property.
• Support store maintenance by keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in retail is preferred. If you love music and pop culture, you'll fit right in!
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• You must be at least 16 years old to join the team.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
