Job summary

La Vie en Rose in Burnaby (Canada) is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to welcome customers, explain products, and process transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll help shoppers find items, stay available in fitting rooms, and strive to meet personal sales goals. The role offers flexible hours, staff discounts, and opportunities for career advancement within a family-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store.
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer questions, explain products (quality, materials, features) and suggest other items.
• Be available when customers are in the fitting room.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals with training support.
• Prepare and place products on the sales floor for a memorable shopping experience.
• Keep the store and backroom clean and tidy.
• Spot and share top product picks with customers.
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process transactions.
• Follow policies of head office departments and learn processes.

What a typical workday looks like

• Give a warm welcome to every customer who comes into the store;
• Help them find everything they’re looking for—answer their questions, explain the products (quality, materials, technical features) and suggest other products they might like;
• Make yourself available when customers are in the fitting room;
• Meet and exceed your personal sales goals (our training will help you get there!);
• Prepare, identify and place products on the sales floor to provide a memorable shopping experience;
• Ensure everything is clean and tidy in the store and backstore;
• Be on the lookout for new products so you can share your top picks with your customers;
• Accompany customers to the cash register and process their transactions;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedures of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

Permanent, part time

HOURLY SALARY : 18,25 $ - 19,55 $
