Westman Lumber Supply is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Associate to join our team in Brandon. This role focuses on day-to-day sales in our lumber and hardware store located at 1875 Middleton Avenue.

You will provide exceptional customer service, process transactions, prepare quotes, and support inventory and showroom organization. Training and benefits are available, with ongoing opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in building materials sales is an asset.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure with accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare quotes for customers and follow up on pricing and product availability.
• Order materials and coordinate with suppliers for timely availability.
• Maintain product knowledge to support customer needs and identify sales opportunities.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including Saturday shifts.
• Support inventory management and showroom or sales floor organization.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
