Job summary

You will help with day-to-day sales activities, client engagement, and lead management, while ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and directing inquiries to the appropriate teams.

Role Description

The Sales Assistant (18-month contract) is responsible for supporting within the Presentation Gallery, assisting the Residential Sales team with day-to-day sales activities, client engagement, and lead management. Works closely with the Sales Director and Sales Managers to move qualified leads through the sales process. The front-line operation and presentation of the Oakridge Park Presentation Gallery. This role ensures a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for visitors, providing basic information and tours while supporting sales staff during busy periods.

Sales Assistants also play an important role in registering visitors, maintaining gallery operations, and directing both prospective clients and existing purchasers to the appropriate teams.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Presentation Centre as required.


• Ensure the gallery is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.


• Monitor general operations and support daily readiness of the space.


• Welcome walk-in visitors and provide basic information about Oakridge Park.


• Conduct general introductions or light tours when sales staff are occupied.


• Register all visitors accurately and capture contact details for follow-up.


• Take down client details when Sales Managers or Sales Assistants are busy.


• For existing purchasers visiting with questions related to deficiencies or concerns, direct them to the Customer Care team.


• Support a calm, courteous, and professional visitor experience at all times.


• Assist with basic client tours of the Presentation Centre and display homes, providing general information about residences and the project


• Ask qualifying questions to understand client needs and purchasing intent


• Pass qualified leads to Sales Managers for follow-up and closing


• Support outbound call lists and call campaigns to the database as directed


• Assist with booking sales appointments and confirming daily schedules


• Send post-viewing thank you emails following tours or appointments


• Enter all visitor registration and client information into Salesforce


• Maintain organized, up-to-date records of leads, appointments, and follow-ups


• Provide general assistance to the sales team during peak traffic periods


• Support a professional, welcoming environment for clients and realtors

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in sales support, retail sales, hospitality, real estate, or a client-facing role preferred


• Comfort engaging with clients and asking qualifying questions


• Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce an asset


• Strong communication and organizational skills


• Comfortable interacting with the public and handling multiple inquiries.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for weekends and peak hours.


• Realtor license is a bonus

The expected hourly range for this role is $25-30.
