This bilingual position is in hybrid mode located at 1 Place Ville-Marie, Montreal.

Job Summary

The role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers flexibility and fulfillment. You will be trained to obtain the Damage Insurance Certificate from l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Ontario General Insurance License, among others. As a Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto, you will provide insurance advice over the phone, helping clients protect what’s important to them. Your role includes building relationships, understanding client needs, and proactively recommending insurance solutions while meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions via inbound calls.
• Create a positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact.
• Complete needs assessments and leverage tools to support advice.
• Understand regulatory risks related to insurance policies.
• Use procedures effectively during client interactions.
• Maintain relationships with partners to work as part of the RBC team.

Qualifications

Must-have:

• Willingness to obtain necessary insurance certifications.
• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience or relevant insurance certifications.
• Bilingual in English and French with high proficiency.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts during operating hours.
• Digital literacy with various devices.

Nice-to-have:

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate.
• Knowledge of insurance products and customer service experience.
