Job Summary

This bilingual position is in hybrid mode located at 1 Place Ville-Marie, Montreal.

What is the opportunity?

The role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers flexibility and fulfillment. We provide tools, training, and support to help you obtain the Damage Insurance Certificate from l’Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Ontario General Insurance License, along with other provincial licenses. As a Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto, you'll provide insurance advice, recommend solutions, and deliver exceptional client service through inbound calls. Your role includes assessing client needs, understanding regulatory risks, and collaborating with partners to meet sales goals.

What will you do?

• Provide insurance advice and solutions based on client needs via inbound calls.
• Ensure a positive client experience and resolve concerns promptly.
• Complete needs assessments using available tools and resources.
• Understand regulatory requirements for insurance policies.
• Use procedures effectively during client interactions.
• Maintain relationships with partners to work as a unified team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Willingness to obtain necessary insurance certificates and licenses.
• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience with insurance certification.
• Bilingual in English and French.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts within operating hours.
• Digital literacy with smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

Nice-to-have

• Possession of Quebec Damage Insurance certificate.
• Knowledge of insurance products and customer service experience.
