Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Surrey, BC. Use your degree to run a business and solve problems for customers while supporting sales, operations, and service teams.

You will receive comprehensive training, mentoring, and a fast-track path to management across Penske locations. A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for US training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing required/preferred.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to drive Penske vehicles including a 26’ box truck.
• Willingness to travel to the US for training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing or sales role.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including Fortune 500.
• Manage large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Attend to other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay rate: $26.25/hr

Responsibilities:

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including many of the Fortune 500.

• Manage our large inventory of world class and nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced and dynamic workspace

• Generate new business leads as well as foster existing customer relationships

• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing

• A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive our Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck

• Ability to travel to the US for training purposes

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing or sales role preferred

• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a reference check.
